Alkayr traveled the lands with his family learning many things about the land, herbalism and healing. When he was young, he and his younger sibling had been kidnapped for a slave trade but their parents came to their rescue. Since that time he has been avidly set against slave traders even more so than he had been before. After the rest of his siblings left the nest he stuck with their parents until he met pirates who were hunting slavers. He joined the crew and fell for the first officer but has now decided to stay at Crossroad's Keep, not able to continue with the crew as he felt he was needed at the keep.

During his time with the first officer of the pirate ship he tried a spell he had just learned but he had not learned enough to be able to use it. He'd hoped to regrow her lost eye but he accidentally gave her his instead. After some time he figured out enough to give himself a sort of prosethic eye but it doesn't work even if it does look real.

Alkayr is a gentle sort who is a bit timid but dangerous when angered. He believes in saving people and helping others but is not an atheist by any means. He cares for his family and will go out of his way to help them or those he cares for.

So he's a dwarf cleric pirate? I think I'm in love <3

Well seems the first hand pirate gal may have competition if she ever shows up.

And he's half-Dwarf but still Dwarf in there. The halfling part really calms him out though
